Sources we use
Shortcuts and defaults are read from the settings file in the LosslessCut source at a release tag, currently v3.69.0. Menu and button labels come from the English translation file at the same tag. Workflow, keyframe and installation advice follows the usage guide, the troubleshooting guide and the installation notes. Download files, sizes and SHA-256 digests come from GitHub's release data for mifi/lossless-cut.
What "last verified" means
The stamp on each page gives the date the page was last checked and the LosslessCut release it was checked against. When a newer release is out, the stamp says so until the page has been re-checked.
Limits we state
We do not call an ordinary LosslessCut export frame accurate, because the project's documentation says start times are rounded to a keyframe. Smart cut is described as experimental, as the app labels it. Screenshots come from the project's repository, and each caption names the build it shows and what has changed since.
Corrections
When a fact turns out wrong, the page is corrected and its stamp date moves forward. The contact page explains how to report one.
